Ms. Courtney Crosby, Director of Internal Audit

Courtney Crosby has served as the DDSN Director of Internal Audit since she started with the agency in August 2021. She began her career at a regional public accounting firm, has worked in state government for over 15 years, and has held audit positions at the University of South Carolina, the S.C. State Treasurer’s Office, and BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. Ms. Crosby earned a Bachelor’s degree in business administration and a Master of Accountancy from University of South Carolina. She is also licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in South Carolina. She was drawn to DDSN by its mission, vision, and values, and the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering quality services to the individuals and families served by the agency.
